Bill Ballance, with a record nine Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) XC-1 Pro Championships, is widely considered to be the best ATV Off-Road racer of all time having held the top GNCC title from 2000-2008.
Ballance will be changing his maing focus from racing to managing his Ballance Racing Yamaha team and expanding his ATV preformane shop in 2012.
When you start riding at the age of four, it becomes a way of life, as it did for Ballance. Although he began his off-road adventures on two wheels, he soon found ATVs more to his liking and began focusing on four wheelers at the ripe old age of seven. At 14, he began racing local MX races and at 18 he turned pro – the rest, as they say, is ATV racing history.
As a veteran top competitor and record-holding champion, Ballance continues to lead Yamaha’s ATV efforts with more than a decade of winning experience.
